About
First and foremost, I am a parent. I am a mother to three wonderful children (Jordyn-5, Lauryn-3, and Camryn-1). Together with my husband Ryan we continuously work hard to try and raise our children in a supportive, nurturing, and balanced environment. Sounds great right? I wish it were that easy! There is definitely truth to the saying “it takes a village” when it comes to raising children.
My ten years experience as a psychologist has certainly increased my understanding of child development. My research and practical experience in the school systems and private sector have given me the opportunity to help children of all ages.

What Can I Offer to You?
You may be thinking “Great, here’s another person telling me how to raise my children.” However, I am NOT going to tell you how you should raise your kids because child rearing is a personal thing that needs to be developed from within each individual family. Unfortunately, there is no cookie cutter solution.
I want to become a helpful resource to you. As parents, it is critical to develop strategies to connect with our children and encourage open communication so that they can feel reassured, validated, and supported. We need tools that will help our kids towards a path of personal growth. The strategies I have developed for this purpose can be found in my book, “The Daily Doodle”.
